People use his name to curse, bless, vent when things go wrong. They use his words to pick and choose what they want to believe, or prove, or discard. Some devote themselves to showing contradictions in his teachings, his words, his life. But all of them know his name.

The Wardrobe
We could use a bit of enchantment in the awfulness of this world. We could use more good stories. C. S. Lewis believed that good stories encourage us to make the real world a little bit enchanted. Seeing The Wardrobe for the first time helped me believe it too.

Good Boy
The first time I saw him, I thought he was the skinniest living dog I’d ever seen. His Snoopy nose can pick up the slightest scent. On a walk he always wants to check all the messages and leave a reply. He’s a good boy.

American Idols
Nothing wrong with pursuing our dreams. Nothing wrong with fame, money, and recognition. But idols? When you go there, the waters get a little muddy. Depending on your POV, point of view, things can get skewed.

Time Zone Challenged
After traveling eighteen hours through four time zones in two flights with a ten hour layover, all during the change to Daylight Savings Time, I think my time zone challenged brain has given up on me.
